  1. Lots of guys will get themselves out, but Freese is one of the guys least likely to do that.
  2. While the scoreless streak is mercifully over, at the end of this inning the Brewers will have gone 30 innings without holding the lead at the end of the inning.
  3. So what is the probablility of scoring at least 1 run with runners on the corners and nobody out?
  4. That was hittable, but it's not right to go heater-heater-heater-heater-heater and then come back with 90+ breaking stuff.
  5. It feels like there is a better chance of seeing a hole-in-one at the Masters today than seeing the Brewers score.
  6. Is there a scoreless innings pool anywhere? And is it too late to throw in a few bucks and a guess?
  7. Unless they changed the rule since last year blackouts still apply. I'm sure they do, but a lot of bf.net friends are out-of-market and this may give many of them a chance to see a game (if they dare).
  8. It's snowing hard here. The "good news" is that it will warn up just a bit and then we'll have a coating of ice instead. Any parallells between that situation and how I feel about the Brewers is just coincidental, but I understand how the ancients thought just a little bit better. As noted above, I just want them to stay within shouting distance of .500 at this point. They need some sort of achievable benchmark by which things can be objectively judged on a large scale. Without that, it just becomes a long, long slog to the end of a summer which hasn't even started yet.
  9. So long as the Brewers last out doesn't go down in a heap like Clevenger did for the Cubs today, I guess we can just move on to tomorrow.
  10. Yo is at least consistent when it comes to STL. Have to wonder if this team will get close to .500 at any point this season.
  11. So I turn the channel over from watching Stricker fight and fight and then give it all away at 18 to see this. Sure it's only a 1-run game, but it feels pretty much like last night.
  12. Well, that Braun AB about sums it up. And now Weeks will swing out of his shoes . . .
  13. For anyone who cares, the mailing-it-in Bucks also lost tonight. At this point if they're within 10 in the 4th quarter of any of the impending playoff sweep by the Heat you have to count it as a victory.
  14. A solo homer in a 1-run game feeling like a death blow is the defnition of depressing.
  15. For Uecker memorial day I'm guessing they pass out kazoos.
