  1. Is it inaccurate to say that the highlight of the Brewers season so far is a grand slam by a career AAA player that was needed to beat a team that is 17 games under on Memorial Day? Maybe we can change that now.
  2. No way was that intentional. Upton is just a hothead. He's one of three people in the park that honestly beleive it was intentional.
  3. Pulling him before the McDonald homer wouldn't have made a lot of sense, given how he got out of the first. RR didn't do any damage.
  4. I kind of worried after he got the short end of the call against Kubel which was followed up by him getting a hit that ZG might end up having one of those innings like he would have last year when everybody was wondering about his mental makeup. He got three Ks, all swinging, on a total of 10 pitches. Only 1 of those 9 strikes was fouled off. Yeah, that was my point. Last year, for whatever reason, he would have blown up. He just powered through. No such luck this inning, but I still can't figure out how McDonald did what he did.
  5. As the rain pours down here, I did get a kick out of the 8% humidity note for Phoenix at the start of the game.

  7. Gomez clearly still running with a hitch there. Hard to understand why they feel the need for him to push it if he's not fully healed.
  8. Sounded like a classic exaggeration until I saw the replay. Not sure I've ever seen a "batter" bail on a strike like that ever. It's tough making the transition from T-ball.
  9. It's been a pretty enjoyable broadcast tonight. I feel bad for the people in other cities who weren't even able to get their games on the air tonight due to the tech problems.
  10. A guy not hitting his weight? A guy not hitting his weight. Your 2012 Milwaukee Brewers.
  11. I have words. OK, lyrics. "She's a gooood girl. Loves her momma . . . . . "
  12. If Verlander finishes this with a grounder Prince might jump on somebody and hurt them.
  13. Today's happy thought: the Brewers are on pace to lose 93 games. They simply can't afford to lose this series. From a baseball perspective it's still really early, but a bad homestand might see the atmosphere at Miller Park turn a little bit.
  14. It's worse than that. They're bad and boring. It's hard to even feel on most night's that they have some sort of puncher's chance, because they have no punch. It just seems like so many things have to line up for them to have a really good chance at winning.
  15. Hey, I have a radical idea. Follow me here. What if JL hit *second*?
