    Also, every bullpen move we make at the deadline is trash. Norris, Curtiss, Rosenthal, Bush, Chafin. Mears was terrible for us in 2024 but good in 2025.

    I was wondering if Ramon Urias wouldn't have been a better option for us at 3rd base and it's looking like he would be, by far. To make matters worse, he signed with the Cardinals and signed for less than Rengifo.

    The problem is it's like over half our offense. Ortiz, Rengifo, Lockridge, Matos, Perkins, Frelick, Hamilton is only good if he walks like 25% of the time which he won't do all year. Vaughn and Chourio can only do so much and that's if Chourio can actually take another step and if Vaughn himself wasn't a fluke last year.

    Chourio was here last year and the rest of our outfield was actually decent last year and I still saw him way too much.

    Remember when we traded Williams for Durbin and Cortes and Cortes was so bad we felt the need to trade him along with a prospect to San Diego for Lockridge and then to compound it all we actually think Lockridge is good and play him way too much?

    I don't even think he tagged him and he almost got his hand on the plate before Contreras even had the ball.

    Two strike fastball right down the pipe and an error leads to an extra base. This team just isn't good.

    Guessing they hope Uribe gets through this inning so they can use Zerpa against Wood.

    Let's not act like Chourio isn't an incredibly frustrating hitter that leaves you wanting more.

    I'm sure there probably has been one but it's hard to think of a worse starting outfield than Lockridge-Perkins-Frelick.

    Frelickj last year was an obvious fluke too. Center cut fastball and he couldn't even touch it.
