  1. You guys don’t want Yelich leading off. You don’t want him hitting cleanup. Where else is he supposed to hit?
  2. His stuff is trash. He can’t get major league hitters out anymore.
  3. BuT oUr OfFeNsE iS oNe Of ThE bEsT iN bAsEbAlL
  4. I hate basically everything about the way we've played since late-ish June,
  5. If McCullers can't even finish two innings with a 6 run lead, he shouldn't be on the roster. The stuff and the control are absolute trash at this point.
  6. Walking back to the dugout before ABS even confirms it. Nice challenge William.
  7. If they want to do these alumni games and home run derbies, they really need to put in temporary fences to bring the fences in by at least 100 feet. Constant 200 foot fly outs and 1 or 2 home runs per round doesn't do anything for the fans.
  8. This looks like it's a cross between beer league softball and banana ball.
  9. He knew Sanchrz was on deck and wanted to save them for him since Sanchez is so good at them.
  10. He's used because we're not likely to win in this situation.
  11. It means our no power put the ball in play style works against teams that don't have good pitching or defense but in the playoffs you're not really facing those kinds of teams and you need power to take advantage of the chances you do get.
  12. Bizarre to lose the platoon advantage and expose yourself even more to a double play.
  13. Weird how right field didn't affect Lara there. Maybe he just made a bad play?
  14. Our regular season offense is fine. Our offensive style in the playoffs is a huge problem and will continue to be until we can actually get guys who are built to succeed in the postseason.
  15. Lara/Frelick. Just because Ortiz is hitting now doesn't mean that's going to continue.
  16. I've been screaming it from the mountain top. WIth off days and stuff you can piece together pitching fairly easily in the playoffs. If we don't add any meaningful offense the same thing is going to happen that's happened for almost the last decade.
  17. Three left handed hitters against a guy who's given up a .920 OPS to left handed hitters this year and we go ground out, ground out, strikeout.
  18. OAA has Mitchell in the 86th percentile in range. Nothing I've seen from Lara tells me he would be that good.
  19. This Sugano guy for the Rockies has given up a .593 SLG% to left handed hitters this year. Our first two at bats went homer, single and after that we've gone ground out, ground out, ground out, pop out, fly out, single.
  20. Didn't really need to know Drohan's sister had a daughter that gave him "uncle strength" and also apparently the ability to give up 3 runs in 3 innings to a bad Rockies team.
  21. It'd be better if Bauers wouldn't be absolutely sucking lately.
  22. Jackson jams his hand into the padding on the wall. So awkward at the wall.
  23. Jackson hacks on 2-0 if Jackson actually had the discipline to get to a 2-0 count.
