    I think that's exactly, and I think that's exactly why Weeks never reached the heights a lot of people thought he would. Slider low and away - swinging K. Rickie's problem was that he was too selective. He would take a couple pitches that he could hit and fall behind and then strike out on breaking balls off the plate. Weeks at least knows the strike zone. Segura doesn't have a clue.

    The problem with Segura is easy. He swings at everything. Why throw him anything he can hit when you can throw pitches out of the zone and have him get himself out?

    You must have forgotten. It's been a while since our last base running blunder so Davis thought it was time for another. Plus Reynolds wasn't doing anything based on what he showed in the 3 pitches there were.

    Nobody has an understanding of how this rule works. If they did, they wouldn't have called a runner safe at home on a force out because the catcher's foot was on, hence "blocking" home plate. They just need to get rid of this stupid rule because it's only in place because of a freak injury to one of MLB's golden boys.

    What a disappointing game for Everton today. Up 2-0 with less than 10 minutes left and they only get a point. That early game between Newcastle and Aston Villa was awful.

    I'm not saying we have to be the most patient team in the league but it would be nice if we didn't swing at so much crap and get ourselves out and maybe make the pitcher work every once in a while.
