    Terrible start today by the USMNT against Guatemala giving up a goal 4 minutes in. They equalized about 6 minutes later, got the go ahead goal 8 minutes after that and added another 18 minutes after that and won quite easily 3-1. Horrible miscommunication led to the first goal for Guatemala but after that the defense for the most part was good as the US kept possession and limited opportunities when Guatemala did have possession.

    This is really nice how teams roll over for the Cardinals. The Cardinals could win 70 games and the division and face a team with 117 wins and they'd probably sweep them.

    Listening to these idiots defend Jeter on his error and then constantly show him for the rest of inning while talking about it and completely ignoring the game play annoyed the hell out of me.

    I don't know how you can hold that against Trout. It's not like he wanted to start in the minors. If anything, it makes Trout's stats that much more impressive.

    Well if they don't call it the batters afterwards went walk (6-4), strikeout (2 outs) and then Prado gets a chance with the bases loaded and two outs. It may not have went exactly that way and who knows, maybe McCann grounds into a double play but the point is it was a bad call that may have cost the Braves an oppurtunity to get back into the game.

    The biggest problem I have with the 2nd wildcard is they rushed into it to have it happen this year so now you have teams like the Reds and Nationals having to open on the road against inferior opponents, so there's really no advantage to division winners unless you're the worst division winner in your league. Screw you, Bud.

    Other teams in other sports don't win their divisions and make the actual playoffs. I'm fine with the extra wildcard, but there has to be a better way to have it. After 162 games where the Braves were 6 games better than the Cardinals it comes down to one game where one bad call can and will in this case change the game and possibly end a season. That I have a problem with.

    This is why the one game playoff is a joke. One bad call like that from incompetent umps can be the difference between a win and a loss.
