Don't remember where I heard it but someone said Weeks' ankle still wasn't 100% to start the year and it was affecting him even though Weeks wouldn't admit it when asked about it. That makes sense to me since he's hitting .264/.351/.444 since the beginning of June which puts him right around where he's been the past couple of years.
It absolutely does matter. Market size effects TV and radio contracts, ticket prices and pretty much everything else on the business side. If you have less people, you have less fans to draw from. Advertisers don't pay as much. Ticket prices are lower.
Braun is so lazy in the field. Casually jog to a ball in the gap, it splits you and Gomez so casually jog to catch it at the wall. Huge windup which easily allows the run to score and Castro to get to 3rd.
Yeah even if Soriano was out there he still would have been out by 80 feet. He had to hold up because the wind held it up so it looked like it could've been caught until the very end when it bounced off the top of the wall. Weeks did a head first slide into 3rd on the play even though it wasn't really needed.
Contradiction overload. You say he's not scoring enough runs and then post stats that say over half of his at bats this season have come before players like Cody Ransom, Cesar Izturis, Jeff Bianchi, Martin Maldonado, pitchers and pinch hitters.
