    Wow, I heard some boos because he walked a guy.

    Okay for those wondering. Fielder hit a ball down the right field line. It got stuck in the padding and Rios just put his hands up like it was a ground rule double. The problem was the ball was still clearly visible and in play. The umpire gave no ground rule double sign so Prince kept running, Rios finally picked the ball up but it was too late and Prince was already home. So an inside the park homer with credit to the idiocy of Rios.

    As TLB said, this isn't hindsight. I wanted Branyan up the second Gross was traded. You can't go as long as we did with no power bat off the bench. Having Gwynn DH in Boston was just abysmal, especially when his main asset is defense. With Kapler able to play a fine outfield and Cameron back anyways Gwynn's defense really served no purpose and his bat is just too weak to keep on the team.

    It's absolutely terrible that Branyan was still in Nashville for as long as he was. Especially after the Gross trade. They decided it would be a good idea to roll with no lefty power bat off the bench.

    Don't worry eanelson, we all knew what you meant. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I get the idea of wanting a guy to actually play on the field and not just sit on the bench all game except for when he bats, but I also get that watching a pitcher hit (well most pitchers) is no fun at all. I'm with dlk9s. I really don't care what they do. If they want to make everybody use the DH, or get rid of the DH. Not going to bother me at all. I would just like to see them adapt one of those for both the American and National leagues.

    Yeah it's going to suck having DeFelice or Dillard get sent down to make room for Riske while that waste of roster space Tavarez remains with the team. Prove me wrong, Doug. Ditch Tavarez.
