    Well Cameron Maybin is now off the board and the Marlins have been in desperate need of a CF for a while. With a big outfield and lots of ground to cover they're going to need a speedy, defensive outfielder who can cover that ground. Colby Rasmus fits the bill and he has a pretty good bat as well. So the Marlins select, Colby Rasmus.

    Wow, I just looked at the standings and the Brewers are only four back of St. Louis for the wild card and the only team besides St. Louis ahead of us for the wild card is Florida, by one game. Let's make up some ground! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

    I don't think it's much of an emotional attachment anymore. There used to be a lot of posters who thought he could be much better (around 3.8-4 ERA type) after his first season when he was really good in the second half and had good peripheral stats throughout the season. I was included in that group. After last year and now a few months through this year I'm fairly certain 99.9% of people who thought he could be a 4 ERA type of guy have abandoned that hope. It's not an emotional attatchment, it's a we know Bush isn't very good but Weaver is worse kind of thing. If we're going to remove somebody from the rotation (either Bush or McClung) then I would much rather they give Villanueva or even DiFelice a shot over Weaver.

    Dontrelle Willis is terrible. Top of the 2nd, nobody out he has given up three walks, a three run homer and of his 36 pitches, 23 have been balls.

    It is when one of your best hitters is the one bunting. That same hitter is fast and not easy to double up. Oh yeah and the bunt wasn't good, they got the force at third and kept the double play in order anyways. A stupid, indefensable move.

    Yay Zambrano just got shelled in the 7th inning after giving the Cubs the lead with an RBI single in the top half. Kemp just hit a three-run homer to CF. 7-3 Dodgers.

    I'm getting pummeled right now in Hartland. A driving rain, just got some hail and now we're getting big gusts of wind.
