  1. So what you're saying is that it's Air Supply and each one brought along their lame brother?
  2. Then of course we could argue that it was a stupid decision to use him for the second day in a row after pitching two innings the previous night when Ned didn't need to. His results the second day after pitching two innings the previous night were predictable (1 IP, 2 ER) and if Mota wouldn't have pitched and he would've gone with Dillard or someone else with a four run lead (which leads me to another question, why is Dillard even on the team when he barely pitches?) then he wouldn't have been "unavailable", even though he actually was and Ned was "saving him" for an inning that never happened which he tends to do.

  4. I doubt it. He got released for behavior detrimental to the team or something like that.
  5. Buzz Aldrin. No, wait, that won't do. Jefferson Airplane!
  6. Here's proof for the Yost supporters that Ned is a bad manager. Prince Fielder says so, ya know? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  7. What a crappy organization. They did it at 3 in the morning after a win? That's pretty cheap.
  8. On Baseball Tonight they were talking about how he would be out until September at minimum. They said he was going to be in the boot for six weeks and then would have to start rehabbing which will take longer.
  9. We definitely lose that trade big time.
  10. Just listened to their update. He said "Hardy is expected to return to the lineup tomorrow night."
  11. Well Nedly sure is using his best reliever sparingly. Oh wait. Marmol 43 innings Torres 40.1 innings Marmol 706 pitches Torres 631 pitches
  12. Absolutely not. Choate just isn't that good, I don't want to waste a roster spot with him, especially when he can be in the minors. The depth is fine but I don't want him up here unless it's absolutely necessary.
  13. I've had the Big Ten Network since it started last August. It's great. Sending reporters out to game sites and having them report on Big Ten Tonight, all the classic games, hell, you even get campus programming. Oh yeah, Charissa Thompson is a sideline reporter too, that makes it so worth it.
  14. I don't like that commercial either. Actually, there is one part I like about it. When the guy in the back providing the beat just stops the beat and says he forgot his wallet. Makes me laugh everytime.
  15. According to his player page on fangraphs his fastball last year averaged 93.2, this year 94.8. So it's not a stretch to assume that last year he hit 95 at least a few times and this year he is basically averaging 95.
  16. If we could get a top of the rotation starter like Lincecum for Prince I would do it in a second.
  17. Maybe I wouldn't have found that McDonald's iced coffee commercial so annoying if they hadn't played it like 10 times a game. I could probably handle it one or two times but for about a month I swear they played it like 10 times a game.
  18. I can't stand this commercial.
  19. After the 11th, where he was very lucky to escape unscathed don't you think it would've been smart if Ned would've had somebody warming up in the pen before the inning even started?
  20. Even if they weren't earned runs (all four of the runs he gave up were earned) it was still a terrible move considering the way he pitched in the 11th.
  21. I don't understand why he didn't go to Shouse against Mauer in the 8th. He's a career .288/.348/.348 hitter against lefties compared to .328/.419/.508 hitter against righties. It would make sense to use Shouse to face Mauer/Morneau/Kubel portion of their lineup and either give us the advantage or force Gardenhire to pinch hit for one of them.
