  1. I'm not sure I buy that. Yeah, Hart made an error but if he doesn't and the Brewers get out of the inning without giving up a run does Ned really pinch hit Iribarren for Branyan? I doubt he does. Unless Iribarren hits a homer or starts a rally the game is likely going to extras anyways.
  2. Starting to agree with this. Of course Melvin won't fire Yost. If he does then his seat will start to get hot.
  3. Yeah, is there a reason DiFelice is on the roster? He has shown nothing. Give Bray a shot until Riske comes back.
  4. I like the way Ned left Tavarez in there after he loaded the bases against the bottom of their crappy order the previous inning. I mean who couldn't predict a blowup when he had to face the heart of their order?
  5. I think batting Prince and Branyan back to back is even more idiotic.
  6. Cody Adams - Red head with a red hot fastball. Yeah, that sucked, no need to tell me.
  7. Not smiling now are you Ned? I hate that ass.
  8. Unreal. I hate this team so much.
  9. Here's an idea. Don't walk the pitcher with the bases loaded.
  10. Hall is such a scrub. Instead of whining and wanting a trade you should be thanking your lucky stars you're collecting a major league paycheck.
  11. If he would've rung Branyan up at second there I would've gone to Miller Park to smack him myself.
  12. Hang another curve Bush. Maybe they'll hit it into Lake Michigan.
  13. Fielder has to cover first on that play.
  14. This umpire has a terrible strikezone. Nice job Bush. Walk a guy who had 10 walks all season.
  15. What about the talks for Adam Dunn? Are those still going on? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  16. What is the going rate? He's not going to be a free agent so it's not like he'll be getting a Beltran like contract. If he'll accept something like 5 years (starting next year) $48 million then yes, I would give him that contract.
  17. Wait for what exactly? Last year he had around a .900 OPS with 24 home runs and 23 steals when he was platooned with Mench and Gwynn for the first month or two. This year he's on pace for an .851 OPS 25 home runs and 25 steals. We pretty much know what he is right now. Pretty much a .300/.350/.525 player. Plus, we already know he's open to a long term deal. Why wouldn't you want that kind of production from a right fielder? It's just icing on the cake if he can play a good center field.
  18. Regarding Hart's long term contract. It was said after Braun signed his deal that they would like to lock up more young players (Hart included) but no deal with any other young player was close. Weren't these deals first proposed in spring to Braun and Fielder. I would wait a little longer if it took that long to negotiate a deal.
  19. I don't think that would even come close. You're not going to get a good player like Hart who is going to be entering arbitration and then buy out two free agent years for an average of $6 million per year.
  20. If he signs for the same length that Braun did he should get more. They'll be buying out arbitration and four free agent years.
  21. Nice pitch, moron.
