    His "bounce back" is basically just hitting .300 with no power. Given that and poor corner outfield defense, still not even close to being worth the money, especially for us.

    Imagine pumping up Lamet 24 hours ago and now having to say it was a numbers game and you couldn't get rid of someone like Trevor Gott because of his "terrific numbers."

    So why were we not compensated for taking on money to help the Padres out? And please don’t tell me Ruiz or Gasser was our compensation for doing it because I’m not buying it and even if it’s true, you don’t make this move now.

    We either took him because we thought there was some value in him that we could extract (clearly not the case based on this) or we took him to even out the money going to the Padres (don’t cry poor anymore) and we should have been compensated for evening out the money. It’s just a stupid, awful move in either case.

    Who loves him? There are only two people that even like him. Unfortunately those two determine his status on the roster and his playing time but nobody else is even in like with him.

    Miguel Andujar's name needs to be blocked from this site forever. It's been coming up for like 3 or 4 years now and it never has and never will make sense.

    He's 20 and will be 20 for the rest of the season. Also, Yordan Alvarez had a .722 OPS in A+ as a 20 year old and now he's the best hitter in baseball. Aaron Judge had an .850 OPS as a 22 year old in A+. So great job trying to prove a point with one or two examples. I can do the exact same thing the other way.
