  1. Phillips just turned 26 and Weeks is 24 and will soon be 25. Not a huge age difference but there's a big difference in production. And both will hit arby next year so that's a wash.
  2. Why would the Reds want to swap Phillips for Weeks?
  3. Since the first win of te Pirates series. Scored an average of 3.92 runs per game. Team ERA 4.08
  4. Got to love the patience Miller and Graffanino showed there.
  5. I figured it out. Randy Marsh is playing Press Your Luck in the strikezone. If the last thing he thinks of before the pitch is a whammy the pitch is a ball, if it's a prize the pitch is a strike.
  6. Rickie Weeks FTL. I'd rather have Counsell in right now.
  7. Braun getting the MVP treatment on that pitch. Not that I mind.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  8. I agree we should blame it on Cappy for jamming the hitter and making him hit it to Mench. Damn you Cappy!
  9. Do they only offer red pants for home uniforms? Because in the 2007 version you can get the red and white pants.
  10. I would say that belongs to Brandan Wright. A 6'10 200 pound PF is going to get abused in the NBA.
  11. Well I'd actually prefer to win the game when I have the chance and what were the chances Weeks was going to do something other than strikeout? Let's be honest, he's 3 for his last 44 and has struck out in 43.2% of those AB's. I'd much rather have Graffanino or basically anybody else on our roster up in that situation.
  12. I feel sorry for the Falcons. Not realizing that he's not a good QB.
  13. I would say the roster as it looks right now will shake out like this (assuming Mason signs which looks very likely.) PG- Williams/Bell SG- Redd/Mason/Bell SF- Simmons/Mason/Villanueva PF- Villanueva/Yi/Skinner C- Bogut/Gadzuric/Skinner The Bucks will match any reasonable offer for Bell and if Simmons isn't ready Mason can start at SF with Villanueva being the main backup which opens up more playing time for Yi.
  14. Go for "Love will keep us together" just change a couple words.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  15. LOL I'm going to laugh so hard if they traded Marshall.
  16. Yes he is. Of course he is owed about $5 million the rest of the year.
  17. He was a restricted free agent this year and we extended a qualifying offer to him which means we were allowed to match any offer. Same thing applies when he goes to Europe, when he comes back we still have the qualifying offer and can match any offer another team makes.
  18. I'm fine with losing Ilyasova to Europe. We still retain his rights and he wasn't going to (nor did I want him) to get significant minutes this year. I'm fine with Mason as well. If Simmons isn't ready he can fill the starters role and take the load off of Simmons if he is ready.
  19. Only problem is Parra is left handed.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  20. Whew now I don't have to worry. We made the playoffs for the first time in 25 years. Celebrate good times, come on!
  21. Okay I need to vent about this now. I see this all the time. Yeah they sucked last year but the Brewers haven't? Whoopie one .500 season in the past 15 so it's obvious if the Cubs are the Cubs and will start to suck the Brewers will too because...they're the Brewers. Might as well hand the division to the Cardinals for the next 50 years now. ----- Continued from: viewtopic.php?p=165080#p165080 Original Lead: viewtopic.php?f=63&t=382
  22. And the homeplate ump blows a call by saying Izturis fouled a ball when he clearly did not. That leads to a single and back to back doubles and now it's 2-1 Cubs.
  23. LOL at the guy saying Jones always liked the ball up and then they show his hot zones and the high part of the zone is blue and the bottom part is red.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
