    That wasn't a full season it was just over 200 AB's. He came up to the majors that year after we traded Spivey for Ohka.

    Probably won't get 500+ but if he gets say 480 and he's so far ahead of everyone else that if he went 0-22 and he would still have a higher BA than everyone else then he would win it. I hope that made sense.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

    No I haven't. I think this is more just speculation from the OP on wanting the Brewers to try to get in and go after Tex.

    I'm guessing it's because he's been horrible for the last couple of months. The Cubs are going to win tonight (Zambrano vs Wells) so if we want to stay 3 games up we better win.

    Yeah I'm just not sure if it is because most of his trades involve "cash considerations" and draft picks (even after we told him you can't trade draft picks) The best (or worst depending on your point of view) was Weeks, Capuano and "moderate cash considerations" for Ronnie Belliard and Ray King.

    Umm I was curious so I did all the stats myself and combined them without Braun. It's really horrible. .222/.295/.388/.683

    His AB's so far have gone like this. 1st inning- Strikes out swinging 3rd inning- Pops out to 2nd base 4th inning- RBI single to right field 6th inning- Sacrifice fly to right field

    And again I'm still absolutely pissed that our best reliever was left in the bullpen while crap AAAA fodder was thrown out there. And please don't tell me we need to save him for a save situation. You're not going to get to a save situation when you throw your crap relievers out there.
