Our offense is adequate right now. It can't always be on fire.

 

The big thing we have going for us right now is our starting pitching is stepping up. That's huge with Benny taking some time off. Even on an off night for our offense, if we can keep the good pitching going we will win most games.

The one thing I am concerned about is that Turnbow and Cordero are on pace to pitch a career high amount of games and innings this season. I just hope they can hold them both together until the end.

Turnbow is throwing his off speed stuff for strikes, which is usually a good sign.

Yeah, we've had problems in certain areas this year, but offense isn't normally one of them. At times, an inconsistent offense, yes.

I post on another forum and i have this ticker. The Brewers reign atop the NL Central is about to be exactly three months in about two days. That's half a season. I know we've been in the lead pretty much all year, and the year is half way over, but it still kind of shocked me to see that.

 

Here's to another three months.
