Why are people talking about "if we get no hit" and every other negative scenario? It was only thru 5 innings plus and we are already ready to jump off the bridge. The panic of most fans is just crazy. Most of us have not been in this spot and we are now just going nuts. We lost one game after the break and that says a collapse is coming? I don't get it. Just take a few breathes and then look back at the tube to see a tie game and things are still ok. Take one game at a time and hope for the best. But this negative stuff and talking about the worst possible stuff is just awful. It's almost like wishful thinking.

Looking at the graphic they just put up about ROY candidates, I don't know how you can put anyone else in it right now besides Pence and Braun. It's clearly a 2 horse race.

Despite the fact someone here said Powell commented it was a blister, it just doesn't make sense.

 

They were looking at the knuckle and he was shaking it and pulling on it. The trainers were even pulling on it a little...and they were clearly not looking at the inside of his finger.

Random thought, but I honestly don't think I've seen another player ever, finish out a swing like Braun. He is so smooth through the zone and equally as crucial, after he clears the zone. Very fun to watch.

Yeah, that's my thought. I don't know that you try to manipulate the finger with a blister. It's just sort of there.

Sorry to chime in a bit late, but on FSN in Madison we saw Corey's HR at bat without interruption. Just saying. This was with Charter.

Yeah I'm in Green Bay with Time Warner and they always cut out at terrible times and I missed the entire Hart homer. I just don't get it.
