Sports Illustrated 2008 Baseball Preview Issue

As usual, SI really went out on a limb with their playoff predictions. 6/8 of the teams they picked made it last year. Seems like every sport they preview they just pick the same teams that made it the year before. Maybe that's just me.....

I actually find that SI goes out on a limb way too often. I don't save the preview issues, so I don't have evidence to back that up, but they seem to make idiotic predictions a lot.

I talked to Barnes and Noble today and the issue should be available on Friday. Subscribers get it a few days early and it should be on sale each Friday.

My Friend (red sox fan) and I have figured out that SI is the WORST sports "expert" to pick ANYTHING. I don't care if they picked us to win the world series, I would not take it serious.

I still like SI more then ESPN. I don't even go to ESPN.com anymore I only go to SI.com for sports news.

this baseball preview is possibly one of the worst I have ever read. And it has nothing to do with the Cubs winning the division, it has to do with the Reds ahead of them, and there is nothing written to back that up, plus all of the articles are almost worthless...

Yeah, after reading the Brewers preview and most of the Tulowitzki lovefest, I didn't really have the stomach to read anything more. It's serving as a coaster on my desk right now.

You sound like the only way you would be happy is if they picked the Brewers to win the World Series and had a 20-page article on Braun.

That would make me happy, but I still want to get it to read and for the fact that Braun at least made the cover.
