Wow that stinks.. guess I'll leave work around 1 then.

Don't you leave, Sgt, until you've done your mench talk.

As much as I love getting my daily Brewer fix, I'd be happy with a rainout today, as long as it didn't spoil Sheets and Gorzelanny for Friday starts.

Next Update on AM 620 is at 12:35. unfortunately, I wont able to hear it, but I'm hoping they say it will start around 1.

If anyone hears an official word, please let us know.

Agreed mikevan. I'm flying to DC for work in the morning and actually have a ticket to the game at RFK on Friday. I'd much prefer to see a Sheets start over a Bush one...so I'm a tad bias for personal baseball watching enjoyment reasons.

If FSN Wisconsin shows a guy sitting along the 1st base baseline wearing a Miller Beer Pen Blue Ringer T-see with the 1980's Brewers road hat on...that me!

For those who can't get AM620...

Still raining.

But Bob said they are going to do everything they can to get this game in today.

No time yet when the game will start. They're going to get another update from Pittsburgh at 1:30.

Anyone know what time the Brewers were scheduled to leave Pittsburgh for DC? I'd hate to see the Brewers end up getting to Washington late at night and end up coming out flat in the series opener.

we go back in september and there is an off day between the pittsburgh trip and the next city, so we could loose an off day and avoid a dh.

As was pointed out the other day, the players have a right to veto that game if they so choose because it would interfere with their right to a day off every 20 days. Don't know that they would choose to veto it, but they have the right to opt for a doubleheader instead

Good question. I think the Pittsburgh to DC flight is just a little over 1 hour total in the air time. So thankfully the Brewers arent like in Houston or on the West Coast. Unless the game doesnt start until around like 7 o'clock tonight...they should be fine tomorrow...especially considering its a night game in DC.

The only threat to getting this game in is now some little cells of rain in central Ohio. I expect this game to be underway within half an hour.

But then again I am no George Graphos

Ahh, you've taken me straight back to my Green Bay days in the early 1990s!
