With Yo in the pen I think that it is time to put Carlos in the rotation. I also think that it may be time to option Rickie to the minors. He needs a chance to find himself.

There is no way either of them were safe. I replayed both several times especially the Gross one because I thought he was safe at first glance too.

 

Braun would have been out by a mile at 2nd if it was a better throw but it was still decent enough to get him by a margin that wasn't really close.

 

And the tag was put on Gross just before his foot hit 3rd base.
