Atta boy John (as Vin Scully is calling him). On that note, Scully is amazing. On this AB, I learned Johnny worked at an institution for the mentally ill making $7/hr and it taught him the value of a dollar. He also talked about his father making him play catcher when he was 12 yr old and Johnny didn't like that because he saw himself more as a pitcher and SS. The same year he made him switch-hit, leading to a very good career which says "father knows best" as Vin put.

Anyone else think we should trot Jenks, Gwynn or Gross out in LF against lefties? I mean they cant really hit worse then Mench is right now. He is reverting back to his 2006 season with Milwaukee.

Seriousley against LHP we should go with Hall in CF, Hart in RF and then give some time to Jenks, Gross and Gwynn in LF. They cant really hit worse then Mench is against LHP.

I really hope there is some GM out there that believes in Mench. The way that he is playing is not going to help us unload him before the deadline.
