Guys...please dont attack me for being negative.

I just have no confidence that we can put consecutive hits together after Fielder in the lineup and I will be surprised if we do so tonight.

Homer...Martin.

3 earned runs bud

I stand corrected, it is 2.... I thought they all were earned.... Dont know the rules with foul ball errors...

Bill Hall is a great 7 hitter.

He is a poor 4 hitter.

Lineup later this year against lefties

Weeks

Hardy

Fielder

Braun

Jenkins

Estrada

Hall

Hart

Jenkins will bat .200 against lefties with OBP about .300 with better power than Mench and will give better defense and leadership.

I can honestly say the only two Brewers I dislike are Mench and Dessens.

Didn't bucksman say the same thing during Sheets' last start? He's not allowed to give up any runs.

Hall crushes lefties.

This game feels like every other West Coast road trip game the past few years...crazy mishaps in the field, quick groundouts, a few bad pitches beating the team in the long run, etc. Hopefully this turns around as it's still early, but this just feels like one of those games.

No movement whatsoever. Thanks for remembering my posts from his last start, rluz. It means a lot to me that you're paying close attention to what I say. I'll keep up the memorable posts!

Not a very good night for Sheeter.

How so? 4IP 3 runs 2 ER 1BB 4K's. 2 bad pitches.

Those aren't "good numbers", especially by Sheets' standards.

If he gives up 4 H's, 1 BB and K's 4 every 4 IP this year he'll have outstanding numbers. He gave up a HR, it happens.

Bucksman, Sheets has looked pretty good. His curve is working and he's mixing in some nice two-seamers. Just a couple bad pitches to some pretty good hitters. The offense (and Randy Wolf) has been the problem tonight, not Sheets.

Sheets has been fine. I was referring to the pitches he left up on the HR by Martin and double for Kent.

Wolf is making our hitters look lousy here.
