As someone who has been a loyal MLB radio/baseball channel.tv listener/viewer this hits me like a blow to the solar plexus... I didnt know Marzano long, but I've know his partner, Vinnmy Micucci for well over 6 years and this comes as a complete shock..

Yeah I was shocked to read this as well and at such a young age.

I first became aware of Marzano when Topps added cards of the 1984 Olympians to its 1985 set, Marzano was on that team.

 

Gone at age 45, following a fall down a flight of stairs, and possibly a heart attack, what a shame.
