The Return of 3TO

The fascination with Branyan at Brewerfan.net is borderline unhealthy

There's nothing borderline about it. Edited February 2, 2009 by support

When the news broke late last night that Branyan was getting called up to form a platoon at third base with Bill Hall, the board went wild with celebration (much of it also had to do with the fact that the virtually worthless Tony Gwynn Jr. was getting sent down, too).

Finally, someone understands!

[trwi7]

Branyan won the hearts of many Brewer fans when he hit two home runs on Opening Day in 2004

That was 2005 n00b!

[rluzinski]

I thought he hit Hardy's name, not his own?

The story is already epic enough! No need for embelishment!

[craigharmann]

3TO Apostles.....that's funny.

[joepepsi]

I too am a 3TO Apostle.

[And That]

Branyan's original name was Jerussell Cabranyan but he didn't want his initials to be that obvious.

We figured it out anyway, Russ.

Today reminded me how muched I missed 3TO for the past couple years. Long live the Muscle!

[Oldcity]

My friend student teaches, and her school was part of the S.C.O.R.E. program yesterday. Guess which Brewer they got? Yep, Branyan. Luckyyyyyy!

[BrewCrewForever]

I'm a proud 3TO apostle. I will never forget the HR Branyan hit off Maddux in 2004 or the pair of bombs he hit on opening day 2005. Two of my favorite Miller Park and Brewers memories.

Sunday reminded me how muched I did not missed 3TO for the past couple years.

A GOLDEN SOMBRERO!!

Umm, Branyan hit a HR today and walked.

[saget]

Hate for the Muscle 'does not compute', to quote the great Bender B. Rodriguez.

[LouisEly]

Deer was the first "3TO" player to have prolonged success in the major leagues.

Wrong!!!! That would be the original of the Four Horsemen of the 3TO Apocolypse, Gorman Thomas!

(The Four Horsemen of the 3TO Apocolypse - Gorman Thomas, Rob Deer, Richie Sexson, Russel Branyan).

He said Sunday.

[GAME05]

now i want a 3TO Apostle T-shirt.

[RU Rah Rah]

now i want a 3TO Apostle T-shirt.

Oh, count me in for that, too.

[gumby1]

He said Sunday.

I think he was actually 2-3 on Sunday.

[PeaveyFury]

He said Sunday.

Branyan was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk with a run scored on Sunday.

[bullox]

Oops. One of those days then. You guys do realize it happened one day recently and are just being difficult, right? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

[jazzytrav]

It never happened! Take it back!

I'm in for the 3TO Apostle shirt, too.

[istanbultaye]

Yes it did! That's the reason we like him! There's not too many people who can draw a walk one day. Strike out 3 times the next, and then the day after that get a walk and a Homerun.

[iluvlamp]

3TO! Enough said. Haters wanna hate. Lovers wanna love....

[tigerbrew]

Today the Manyan has 2 BB, 1 K and a monster homer in 4 ABs. He's truly the god of 3TO.

[BrewCrewForever]

Monday I believe he was 0-4 with 3 K's. That will happen from time to time.
