Happy Independence Day!

Oh yes my beautiful friends, it is that time of year again. Break out the grills and toss on the wurst. If George Washington lived today I would have a beer with him and I bet he would be a Samuel Adams kind of guy.

 

So how are you 'patriotizing' your day? I myself was supposed to go to the game today, but the Killians got the best of me last night and I overslept. It happens.

Watching the game on tv, grilling (hot dogs or chicken, not sure which yet), and probably up on the roof this evening to watch the fireworks from across town. Probably get in a screening of "Independence Day" too, at some point.

We watched today's Brewer game while waiting for some relatives to come watch fireworks with us.

Independence is great. Fireworks are not. I cannot wait for this loud and annoying weekend to be over.

I got very, very sunburned in the left field bleachers. Now I'm red to match my Brewers blue and white.

Well... I didn't die or blow any appendages off. I am predicting a slight hang-over in the morning though.

I was terribly hung over this morning, but still somehow managed to upload this video to Youtube. My uncle gets hit in the hand with a firecracker that exploded on the ground. I thought it was funny. He was fine, not a scratch on his hand.
