Just seeing if there are any fellow Jack's Mannequin fans on this board. They have definately become my favorite band in the past 3 years, and they just put another amazing show on at Summerfest this year. Their newest CD comes out in September and I can't wait!

 

For anyone who hasn't heard of this band (formed by former Something Corporate lead singer Andrew McMahon), his story is worth checking out, being a recent leukemia survivor. And I think their music is worth checking out too...

I'm a fan. Their one and only album is outstanding -- one of the best I own. I thought the show at Summerfest was quite bad this year (too much bass, couldn't hear the piano, screaming teenage girls); probably not Andrew's fault, though. But Everything In Transit never gets old -- a very fun album to listen to.

I prefer Something Corporate. I'm not a big fan of JM. Thought the rumor for a long time was that this was just a side project and he was getting Something Corporate back together? So much for that.

I stood by a beer house and there was really nobody around us (especially no screaming girls). I could hear everything pretty well, and I thought their new song "Swim" was incredible. Couldn't agree more about your thoughts on Everything in Transit
