Seriously, how could you not love the Chicago Cubs?

 

Well, as it turns out, there are a lot of ways. You could grow up on the Southside of Chicago, where Cubs fans are viewed as a whole tribe of spoiled Ferris Buellers. You could be a St. Louis Cardinals fan raised to believe the Cubs are only cute and cuddly to the people who see them from afar. You could be from the greater Milwaukee area, only two hours north of Chicago, where maybe you have had the whole lovable Cubs thing rammed down your throat all your life to the point of bursting.

I hate the Cubs. Always have. I never understood why it was so quaint to love a poorly run team that took their fans money and never even tried to win.

As a Cubs fan, I have fun with the rivalries. So I like the Cubs hate.

 

With that said, what a worthless article. A lot of words to just say Brewers, Sox and Cards fans don't like the Cubs.

I have nothing really against any of the Cubs players per se. I hate them because:

 

1. They are a huge rival

2. They have EASILY the most ignorant, arrogant, and disrespectful fans I've ever come across

Yes, I understand that Sox, Brewers and Cards fans feel that way. I still didn't need an full page article to tell me that.

 

For half the salary, I'd turn in this article and be just as informative.

 

"The Cubs have fans all across America but White Sox, Cardinals, and Brewers fans hate the Cubs and Cubs fans."
