Brewers Red Sox trade

Brewers send Salome, Hardy, and Hart for Masterson/Buchholz, Youkilis, and Josh Reddick. I would really like Lester but the Red Sox are not going to give him at all. I believe Buchholz and Masterson are available though. I wonder if the Red Sox would part with Reddick though.

I think they are ready to make the Red Sox Youkilis' team. He will be there for a long time.

Not sure why the Sox would want Hart unless they are convinced he can play CF. Bay and Drew are there already. And yeah Youkilis isn't going anywhere except maybe 3B permanently.

Well Drew could play CF too. But Youk is their guy, for better or for worse. Also, when I opined that a Masterson for Hardy trade would look good, my friend who is from Boston said that they were comfortable with Jed Lowrie there. I wouldn't be, but apparently Bo-town loves him.
