Is Turnbow Loose?

Thank god we already made it past Pujols and Rolen last inning... Turnbow (assuming you are our man in the bottom of the inning) let's not make this one too interesting now, okay? A nice boring half-inning would sit very nicely right about now.

I didn't see this previously in the IGT, so here goes:

 

Why did Ned pull the -defensive- Koskie to put Hall at third and then pull the more defensively sound Cirillio for the lesser glove bearing Weeks?

Was this purely for offense? If so, why not just rely on your bench? (and not put Weeks in on D or move Hall over)
