Are Sounds jerseys just numbered and not named?

[nodakfan17]

They are both numbered and named, unless otherwise specified.

Another auction round on Nashville jerseys

Don't these players ever KEEP their jerseys?

I am always surprised at how many of these are available...

Players don't own the jerseys, the teams do.

understood, but surely arrangements can be made so that the players have the opportunity to keep them, right?

Why would they want to keep a minor league jersey?

[Jim Goulart]

What we've seen in the past, especially at the low minors level where the jersey would have more significance and value to a young player and his family, is that the player is allowed to purchase jerseys up-front in fixed-value sale situations, before any remaining jerseys are made available. We've seen that with Helena in the past, I believe.

What do you think the Gamel jersey will go for? I'm guessing $270.
