Offical Trade Deadline Major League Rumor Thread

My question is...how many, and which, teams are accepting the fact that they're out of contention? I've been hearing on XM that a lot of teams still consider themselves to be in the race, even though they may be in 3rd place or lower in their division. An example might be Houston, which has been bad this year, but had a hot second half last season and figure they may pull off the same feat this season.

 

I wonder if we're going to see a lot of GMs just hold onto their pieces to try and placate their fans.
