Should we try for another lefty from the Tribe? I haven't looked at his contract situation at all, but I saw this article on espn.com. Couldn't read it because I'm not an insider.

He has an option for 2010 for only $9m and I don't think the Indians are going to be rebuilding.

Would love to have him, but I doubt the Indians will look to move him, like endaround said.

I'm still not sold on Lee, despite him being 30 already. In 5 full seasons, he's been great once, above average twice, and atrocious twice. In 2007, he got sent to the minors because of how bad he was pitching and was used as a reliever when he got called back up in September. I'm happy for him that he was able to bounce back from that and win the CY in 2008, but I wouldn't bet on him having another year like that any time soon. I'm afraid that he's more Esteban Loaiza than Randy Johnson if we're talking about guys who looked like they put it together when they were around 30 years old.
