Player opt-out option after four years, good for him, and good for them to be able to hang onto a player like him in Canada.

nope. They are committed to spending big bucks. It would be foolish to spend that kind of money on Burnett, Ryan, Glaus, and Wells if they are afraid to spend any more. When spending that much on 4 guys, they just can't get stingy elsewhere.
