Man, could there have been three worse hits strung together to score a run?
Only two were hits. Nice job by Manny getting out of it with only one run though.
I considered including a parenthetical statement to note that I realized that one of the "hits" was not a hit, but I figured everybody would get what I was saying and not comment. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Question-- why is it when a pitcher can't find the strike zone out of the stretch, why do they continue to pitch out of the stretch with the bases loaded?

Also why do batters swing when a pitcher can't find the strike zone? Stand there and make him throw a strike.

Wow, Bronx cheer for Kershaw there...That's pretty harsh for the way he's pitched recently (for the last two years, for that matter), not that Brewers fans wouldn't do the same.

Probably going to regret not getting more than 2 runs that inning.
The Brewers aren't the only team this year that has trouble hitting Kershaw. I'm pleased that they scored a couple.

It would be huge to make Kershaw throw 20 pitches this inning and get him out of the game. He's at 82 already and they only let him go around 100.

I gotta say, I def. prefer Scully's call to BA/Rock.

Sorry fellas.

No secret there. BA and Rock I think are very average. I think it has been tough for BA to follow Sutton and Matty Vas

Bah.

Hit would be nice, just once with the bases juiced.

Like the one Lopez had yesterday? At least they were able to score both times they had the bases loaded, so it could have been worse.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."
