All I can think of offhand are (1) by January the roster will be closer to set, so they'll know more who they have to work with and (2) Peterson needs time to look at video.

So, Kyles / Peterson will be responsible for teaching our pitchers proper mechanics.

 

I am expecting a nice hitch from our entire starting 5 this year.

Bosio hired as advance scout. The Brewers must have been one of the few teams without an advance scout the past few years. I realize it's kind of an archaic position what with video scouting, but I it's still nice to lend the human touch.
