Anyone know why the Poto banner on the outfield wall is covered?

They always cover it up during the Braves series' because some American Indians consider that team name offensive. Same thing as the Redskins protests that seem to happen every year.

Yep, also covered the rare times the Indians play here (including when they used MP a few years ago due to snow).

So the Potawatomi banner was covered as they are protesting the Braves/Indians team names... (Couldn't figure out what "Poto" was for a while...)

I was also thrown for a loop until I read CheezWizHed's post. I've edited the full spelling of "Potawatomi" into the thread title to avoid further confusion.
