now that is one heck of a throw by Braun

[GormanHarvey]

What a throw!!!

[PrinceEatMeat]

YES! Sweet play by Braun! Perfect throw too!

[GormanHarvey]

Great performance Marco!!

[PrinceEatMeat]

Sweet defense this inning. If that's it for Estrada, fantastic outing! Really needed it here. Hope our offense steps up for him.

[ilovebeer]

Braun you are a stud.

[Oxy]

Every once in awhile Braun makes an outstanding play. Perfectly positioned on that ricochet off the wall and then a perfect throw to beat the guy by 12 feet. Then the next inning he'll take a banana route to the ball, over-run it, and let it glance off his glove. Frustrating, but at least he is capable of making great plays, anyway.

Good start by Estrada. It's not our pitching, it's not our defense, it's been our offense that has been killing us. The good thing is once Morgan and Hart are healthy we are going to be at least average at worst.

[DocLuna7]

At work and watching on Gameday.... is Estrada as impressive as these numbers indicate? If so, awesome.

[ilovebeer]

So far Marco has done a nice job. keep it up.

[PrinceEatMeat]

Yep, Estrada has been very good. He's got great stuff today.

[razzzorsharp]

Stop trying to pull the ball.

[PrinceEatMeat]

Sweet. Almonte's average is at a solid .100 now.

[ilovebeer]

Kind of surprised Marco is out of the game.

Kind of surprised Marco is out of the game.

I'm not. 96 pitches after that long of a lay-off is probably enough for him.

Sweet. Almonte's average is at a solid .100 now.

I will say it seems like Almonte hits almost every ball hard. He has had some really bad luck with the bat. On another note he is horrible in RF.

He sucks. Doesn't deserve to be on the team. Plain and simple.

[PrinceEatMeat]

Good thing Loe got away with that balk there.

Never said he should be.

[brettac1]

Estrada pitched his tail off.

[jason21nl]

wow, this really sucks.

[PrinceEatMeat]

Should've brought in Braddock right here. Hope it doesn't come back to bite us.

[Oxy]

Matt Stairs. just seems like bad news.

[GormanHarvey]

Wow!!! Wow

[PrinceEatMeat]

WOW! Nice throw Rickie!
