Amen. Hawkins is gonna be back in a couple days. His last rehab outing was today, and went well. Parra should follow soon too. Hart should be back by April 29. Greinke May 4. The end of the injury problems is in sight!

Wasn't sure what you were referring to so I looked it up and found video of it. Literally 8 inches outside on the last punchout. I can't even imagine how infuriating that would be as a Braves fan.

I don't see much reason to be excited about Hawkins coming back, it isn't likely he is that much of an upgrade over any other RHP in the pen. He is a mid to high 3 ERA pitcher at this point in his career and with our defense he might be a 4 ERA bullpen guy.

As soon as I saw Jerry Hairston Jr. up to bat I thought to myself that he would hit a home run. For some reason players like him always seem to have their best games against the Brewers and their performances seem to cost the Brewers wins in close games.

I really wish Boggs was on this team right now. He's currently hitting .296 with 2 HR 7 RBI .500 OBP 1.056 OPS and 9 walks at AAA. Also has 2 outfield assists. He'd look a lot better out in RF than Almonte has so far. Good thing we kept Reed and Almonte over him. Sigh...
