Weird question here, but is it just me or does Prince's jersey look extra small tonight?
I think it looks that way because he's not wearing a long sleeved shirt underneath. I thought it looked goofy too.

It's nice when on a hit like that I actually expect it to be caught. No other CF in baseball comes within 15 feet of that ball.

Vin Scully is the best there is. He's already taught me things about the Brewers today I didn't know. You have Braun's high school stats? He played soccer? Prince wasn't just named after the singer but also had a great uncle named Prince? etc., etc. Incredible.

If you are a fan of Randy and Jason Sklar's podcast Sklarbro Country, you get to hear a character named Racist Vin Scully. The guy who does the voice (Chris Cox) is spot on with his impression.

To be clear before people jump on me, I'm talking about the one he DIDN'T catch.

I thought it was going to be caught too. It looked like the ball carried more than Gomez thought it would. From my eyes it looked like he broke over and then had to drift back. Which is insane because he almost caught it, even with what seemed to be not the best route.

There is the epitome of why the Brewers struggle to score runs when they don't hit dingers. Betancourt with a useless at bat, and Lucroy's long fly ball goes for nothing. I don't know if every Major League is like this nowadays, but the Brewers are terrible at small ball.

Guess I am not sure what the problem with Betancourt is. I'd like to see more of Counsell too, but that ball was a rocket back to the mound that Garland played very well. Just as easily could have been a single up the middle.

Coming into tonight: .228/.250/.331/.581. That's not bad, that's terrible. And that's not to mention his lack of range of defense.
