Wow. Seeing that Fielder was at 3rd when Ross got the ball, there's no way in heck I would've sent him. So stupid. I didn't know where he was initially. That's just a terrible decision. Not that Betancourt would've gotten a hit, but at least Morgan would lead off the 9th then.

They probably should have pinch ran Gomez for Fielder after Mcgehee got a hit...especially since they like to send everyone on plays they shouldn't.

If the play has a chance to be close, I'm fine with sending him but there was no chance that play was going to be close. He was out by at least 20 feet, probably more. At the very least you hold Fielder and clear Betancourt so he doesn't have to lead off the 9th.
