Well apparently Gamel threatening McGehee's playing time is the cure for everything that ails him... worked in 2009 and worked today!
I know you're being at least partly sarcastic, but I do think sometimes threat of losing a job can light a fire under an athlete's behind in certain circumstances.

You would think with a fire under his behind casey would move a little quicker.
