Not sure if anyone caught the feature about Ax on Baseball Tonight. Nyjer was also on Rome's radio show today. Both very good pieces. Great to see the Crew getting some national media love.

Man, to ESPN's credit, it seems they are giving more love to the Brewers than the local media up here in Green Bay. I mean, i love the Packers too, but when the Brewers playoff game is story number four on the news, and the first three stories are about Packer practice, something is not right.

790 The Zone in Atlanta (the ESPN radio competitor down here, but easily the better station - home of the 2 Live Stews, who often appear on ESPN First Take) had Craig Karmazin on this morning to talk about the Brewers and this past Wisconsin sports weekend. Apparently, Karmazin graduated from Emory University and was the station's first intern, so he's old buddies with the guys down here. Steak Shapiro, the station's co-founder and local celeb, said he has adopted the Brewers as his playoff team.
