The Dodgers announcers said that Wright has made an MLB roster out of spring training as a non-roster invitee for 7 straight seasons. Wow.

No matter how this ends up it's been a heck of an early-season series. Not perfect baseball, but pretty high-level and the imperfections have only added to the appeal of the games.

that was pretty much an incredible play by Weeks blocking the base like that. Yet another example of MLB players doing absolutely amazing things that look pretty simple

wait a minute. Is Tim Dillard actually pitching to Matt Kemp in the 9th inning if a one run ball-game?

Seriously?

Do you offer seminars to train folks like me on the finer points of your baseball mindset?

You may run like Mays...

So is it me or should we have had 2 on and no out to start the inning. Off the replay looked like Loney left the base on Ishikawa and then Aoki should have drawn the walk. Thanx blue

2 out of 3 isnt bad. The Dodgers came in really hot. Very competitive Games all 1 run games. Lets hope this series is a big turn for the brewers.

Loney stayed on the bag. No idea how he made that call on the Aoki tip though.

edit: i just rewound to the super slo mo replay (after Aoki's at bat had started) and I think I see what you're saying about Loney. His toe stayed on the ground really really close to the bag, but he might have lifted the ball of his foot off of it. Very close, and no way the brewers get that call. Aoki still should have walked though.

why did ishikawa bunt? I'm only seeing the game on espn, so i don't have audio or anything. was it a good try? Or just silly?

It was a terrific bunt, but not enough to overcome his lack of speed or JHJ's superb barehanded pickup. Can't fault him...it was bang bang.

Good bunt, better play by Hairston.

I know theres no way the ump makes that call but thats why their should be replay. But i guess it evens out after last night and yea that was a horrible call on Aoki
