I was thinking he would go with the 1996 Fovy Cavarus. You know. The Ford Taurus with the Chevy Cavalier hood, and maybe different colored doors.

 

But I agree, if it makes this team functional, I am all for it.

So is Ransom our starting shortstop the rest of the way? Slightly better bat then Iz, and seems to be just as good defensively.

Ransom is fine. I never expected him to be a hero, but he seems adequate enough defensively post-Betancourt. And I don't cringe when he's at the plate like with Izturis.

 

When Izturis returns I would like to see something like 75/25, the 75 going to Ransom.

Izturis is seems very good defensively, so I'm find with a 50-50 split if the rest of our offense can be near full strength

I really think Roenicke is committed to Izturis. I'm worried it's going to be a straight platoon at SS when Cesar returns.
