He might get the save CHANCE, but highly unlikely he actually pitches well enough for the save.

Pathetic. This whole team is pathetic.

 

Bullpen outside of Henderson is trash. All our hitters are swinging at pitches out of the plate. Useless. Roenicke needs to be gone. I've seen enough. This team has quit, and in the games when we are magically in it, his clown car management style blows those, too.

The sarcasm here should've been on the notion that the Brewers might actually put together enough hits in close proximity to score a run and actually have a lead.

 

Today the pitching hasn't been great but the offense has been mostly putrid. This looks like the offense that went through that crappy 1-9 stretch or whatever about 2 weeks ago.

I just had a bad vision of the speedy Jose "exactly 1.0 Altuves" Altuve scoring the winning run. That has more to do with his speediness and pluckiness than any particular lack of faith in Jim Henderson. (Though you never know when it will be Jim's turn in Reliever Roulette.)

This is no fault of Henderson's.

 

I wonder if there has ever been a conversation previously about him pitching more than one inning. He hasn't done it yet with the brewers, so if after he pitched his inning, which he normally does, he thought he was done, I can see how this would effect this innings performance.

 

This bullpen situation is an absolute nightmare.
