Not to be lost in this is Marcum. I don't know if it's fools gold, or if he's feeling better or what...but he has put together back to back quality starts - against quality opponents - to give this team a chance to win and stay in this thing.

 

It's huge and deserves mention. He's much maligned, and in no way would I endorse giving him the 13 million QO (which is what it would be in the neighborhood of) for next year, just that I'm impressed with what he's done over the past 2 CRITICAL starts.
