We're going to sweep this team, screw up our draft position and give the front office and ownership warm fuzzies and false hope about how good we could be next year.

Yup, we've won 5 of our last 6. Great, so we screw up our chances of getting an impact player in the draft.

Baseball draft is such a crapshoot, tanking doesn't make too much sense. I'd rather see the rotation pitch well and give us that stability going into the off-season. Also helps if DM might want to flip one of theses guys.

It's always better to have a high pick. No matter what the sport. Having a higher pick adds to our bonus pool so we can spend more money, it protects our 1st in case we do something stupid and sign a free agent that requires giving up a draft pick.

In today's Tavern of the Game segment, Craig Counsell said that he specialized in Wisconsin geography. I wonder if that means that he can pronounce Muscoda (which Bill Schroeder mispronounced but is totally excusable) and Mazomanie (which Schroeder mispronounced and isn't so excusable).

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Today was the first time I've watched Nelson pitch since I saw him in Helena. I was definitely impressed today. He doesn't have ace stuff, but he could be a solid 2/3 type pitcher.

Just lose Brewers. Just lose.

Another blown save in the ninth. Way to go, Mr. Hand.

Get rid of this guy. He stinks.

Should have brought Kinzler in for the 9th, let's hope Roenicke figures out to do that for the 10th. He's thrown under 30 pitches over the last 4-5 days so it's not overusing him to bring him in 3 straight days.

Wow, has Gomez been on fire or what? Yikes. 24 home runs, 39 stolen bases, 73 RBI and a Gold Glove. What a season!

Well, the Gold Glove is all but a foregone conclusion, but you never know.

By winning 6 of our last 7, I have us drafting 10th.

A late season rally that did nothing but screw our draft position. Ugh.

This win clinched 11th or 12th. Remember Toronto gets an extra pick for not signing Phil Bickford. If the Brewers win tomorrow they pick 12th, If the Brewers and Blue Jays lose they also pick 12th. They pick 11th if the Brewers lose and Blue Jays win.

Wow CB Bucknor with another horrible call (not sure if anyone saw the call he made earlier in the week that went a little viral). I have never seen an umpire put there hands on their head after making a call because they knew they made the wrong call!
