Looked out by plenty in live action. Seems like i'm constantly disappointed by Gomez' speed getting to first. He watches too much instead of just booking it.

I agree. I'm surprised he didn't beat that. I didn't see it, but I'm guessing he wasn't all out until he saw the ddeflection. By then it was too late.

Just throwing it out there, but I think his lack of speed or a reason why he didn't beat that throw is because of his swing. He kinda has a "step in the bucket" swing from time to time, or is completely off balance because he takes such a big swing. Takes him a step or two to recover and by that time, its too late.

 

I think he look ridiculous swinging so hard that his helmet falls off at least once a game....but that's just my opinion
