on sac bunts... going to say something like "turning crooked numbers into single tallies since 1846"...

but at this point, can you blame Ron?

It looked like Reynolds was bunting for a hit there.. which leads me to believe it wasn't called from the dugout. I could be wrong, tho.

Hard to bunt for a hit on that astroturf that looks like it was bought at Menards.

I agree, but still looked like he was trying to surprise Longoria who was deep, playing for the double play. He just bunted it too hard.

Gomez and Schafer 5 at bats 5 strikeouts. That's 5 of the 7 K's that Cobb has. Nice bit of strategy Ron.

In other words, just giving Gomez the day off would have been just as useful.

Maybe I'm off base here, but I really liked seeing Gomez bat anywhere but leadoff. I thought he would get more RBI opportunities toward the middle of the order.

Lucroy with the passive-aggressive move of the night there, moving his head over to try and figure out where Garza's 3-0 curveball missed.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

The Rays announcers are just relentlessly ripping the Brewers offensive approach the last 2 nights. Saying they have talent but their offensive approach will get eaten alive against really good pitching.

Nine runs in the last five games. Ugly. Come on offense, wake up please.

Hard to disagree with the bolded.

Living in Florida, and usually watching mlb.tv but being forced to watch sun sports, these guys are really annoying.

Alex Cobb has only faced 23 Brewers batters tonight, and 10 of them have struck out. Hopefully they find a way to turn things around in a hurry.

It has to be borderline insulting to our starting pitchers that we're inquiring so heavily on Price and Lester. Like the rotation is the problem.
