First thing I've ever seen LaRussa do that I applaud. Of course he'll probably replace the Cro-magnon Gibson with some other Neanderthal.

 

That Lucroy homer was special...good memory, especially given how rotten the last month has been.

I'm sorry he lost his job, because that ends the fear of losing his job and the misery of managing an awful team. I deeply hope that he will immediately find many and varied forms of suffering to fill the void. People like Kirk Gibson (and Tony LaRussa) represent everything I hate about sports. May he rot.
