From a parallel universe...

[Harold Hutchison]

To distract folks from this 2015 season, I'd like to give folks a look at a parallel universe, where Milwaukee Brewers baseball went a lot... better.

I assumed that the Brewers did things differently in Baseball Mogul Diamond. They pull a bigger trade with Cleveland earlier in the season (they get BOTH CC Sabathia and Victor Martinez for a package of players. They also shipped Bill Hall for a bunch of prospects, and also were able to deal Gabe Kapler, Suppan, Jason Kendall, and Russell Branyan for prospects and other pieces. One of the other changes: Chris Saenz makes a comeback for the ages, and Nick Neugebauer also did so.

The Brewers got very lucky health-wise as well. The biggest DL stint was Corey Hart, out 18 days with a strained neck.

So, the 2008 World Champion Milwaukee Brewers:

That's a lot of CG's there by the starters.

$112mil payroll? Probably not very realistic.

Yes, but did you fire Ned Yost with 2 weeks left in the season?
